The Oklahoma African Amearican Educators Hall of Fame, Inc. is announcing its 2002 Eleventh Annual OAAE Hall of Fame, Inc. Inductees. The Hall of Fame is honors African American educators who have taught or served in some capacity in the educational system for at least five years in the state of Oklahoma.

There were various recognitions and annoucements, including musical selections, the singing of the Negro National Anthem “Lift Every Voice And Sing,” followed by heavy Hors D’Oeuvres. Shirley Nero of Clearview spoke on the “Recognition of 13 Black Townships of Oklahoma and the keynote speaker was Major Dr. M. L. Jemison of Oklahoma City.
Read moreThe citizens of the Town of Clearview cel-ebrated Juneteenth as citizens in the early days of Clearview with food, games, and the reason they celebrate Juneteenth. The group gathered at the Main Street Community Center at 6:30 p.m. on June 19, 2022, the actual day of Juneteenth for pizza, drinks, dessert, and games. It was a fun time for all. This may generate a monthly event instead of a yearly event to bring the citizens together.
