Service held for Christine Lewis

Christine Annette Lewis, a resident of Dustin, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 in Tulsa, OK at the age of

53. She was born June 14, 1965 in Claremore, OK to Eldon Lewis-Kano and Mandy (Starr) Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by two grandsons, John Yackeschi and Dillon Harris II, and nephew, Alan Lewis.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Mandy Harjo and husband Brandon of Dustin, daughter, Jackelyn Harrison of Wichita Falls, Texas, daughter, Paula Lewis of Okmulgee, grandchildren; LeBryant Pigeon, Laila Butler, Alivia Butler, Leyah Davis (whom was like a daughter to her), Jaylee Lewis, Jason Davis, Arianna Harrison-Harjo, AuBennie Harjo, and Nehemiah Harjo, brother,

Jim Starr of Okmulgee, brother Thomas Lewis of Tulsa, brother, Sampson Lewis of Henryetta, sister, Frances Lewis of Eufuala, sister Pauline Lewis of Tecumseh, brother, Harley

Lewis of Hanna, sister, Chippie Lewis of Henryetta, and brother, Benjamin Hill, Jr of Okmulgee, step-mother, Sissie Lewis of Hanna, Oklahoma, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Wake services were held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Integrity Chapel from 6-8pm.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Yardeka Indian Baptist Church (southeast of Henryetta) with Rev. Bennie Harjo and Rev Sidney Lee officiating. Interment followed at Starr Family Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
