Tom Oscar Marshall was born November 27, 1941, in Dustin Oklahoma to George Marshall and Mamie (Letka) Marshall. Tom (Oscar) passed from this world to be with our Lord on November 24, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oscar grew up in Dustin OK. He married the love of his life of 61 years, Rose Marie (Stapp) Marshall, on July 12, 1961, in Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Oscar and Rose settled in Midwest City, Oklahoma where he got a job working for the City of Midwest City Street Department. After 35 years and hard work he retired as City of Midwest City Street Department Superintendent. After retiring from the City in 1995 he began working at Crossroads Cathedral, the family’s church, retiring from there after 15 years.

Oscar loved walking the neighborhood, tending to his garden, mowing, golfing, casino-hopping, taking trips with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. His wife and the family they had made was the pride of his life.

Along with his parents Oscar is predeceased by four brothers and three sisters, as well as his sons, Tom Marshall Jr., Robert Marshall, and David Marshall, and also great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Norvell.

Oscar was survived by his beloved wife, Rose Marie Marshall; eldest son, Curtis Leroy Marshall of Midwest City, sons, Stoney Marshall of Midwest City, Terry Marshall of Shawnee OK, and a daughter, Fontella Ann Marshall of Spencer, Oklahoma. Oscar was also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Middle Creek #1 located at 2817 N. 389 Rd., Lamar, Oklahoma on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Wright Family Cemetery in Dustin OK. Visitation held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home, located at 221 S. Main St., Wetumka, OK.
