Pictured above is Donna Lipe, Halo volunteer. She has been helping at the shelter since the day she retired. Whatever is needed she will do! She recently painted this puppy quarantine building red, white and blue! She checks on the mamas and puppies twice a day to make sure they are all right. Do present day parents require their kids to make the bed every day? I researched this question and couldn’t find the answer. But given the evolution of parenting styles I suspect many do not. Modern parenting provides more freedom of choice to kids that when I was young.
