WELEETKA HAS BEEN RAVAGED BY FIRES IN RECENT DAYS. Two house fires, along with the Masonic Building on Main Street in the quiet rural community, were a total loss. First responders from surrounding counties all came and assisted with the blaze downtown. The Masonic building, as well as the homes, were a total loss. No one was injured in the fires.
