Most of us complain about “hard times” on a regular basis. However, the fact is the vast majority are living better than any generation in history. Those that actually went through “hard times” never complained about them. Many of our parents and grandparents grew up in a Depression, served in a World War, and had to learn how to survive on a daily basis.

Donnie McCarn was born December 23, 1950 in Holdenville. He was born to Robert and Belle McCarn. Donnie grew up and attended school in Holdenville where he excelled in baseball and basketball. After high school, Don worked for Chapman Ranch for several years before going to work as a carpenter with Papa Bob. He then started his career working for Walmart in Loss Prevention. After retiring from Walmart, Don returned to carpentry and building custom homes.
