Funeral services for Jonathan B. Books, resident of Weleetka, Oklahoma, were held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Weleetka Assembly of God Church with Bro. Robert Bray officiating. Immediately following the service, there was a time of community fellowship and remembering times together in the fellowship hall of the church. There was no graveside service.

Velma Ruth Huddleston, 86, former longtime resident of Weleetka, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Ruth was born on August 27th, 1935, in Pharoah, Oklahoma to Mac and Georgia (Yarborough) Bowen. She was a homemaker and enjoyed telling stories, playing the harmonica, ukulele, the organ and was an accomplished pianist and gave lessons on how to play.
