Caddo exploded for fifty points Friday to defeat Weleetka.

It was the second loss this season for the Outlaws. Weleetka scored two touchdowns, the first on a five-yard run by Dakota Hendrix. Chase Pitts scored the twopoint conversion.

Weleeta Schools host Distance Learning Day

Weleetka Public Schools will have a school wide Distance Learning Day on Friday, Sept. 18. Students will stay home, log on to their Google Classroom and complete homework assigned. Grab and go breakfast & lunch for students will be available for pick up by the parent/guardian between 10:00-11:30 at the back of the cafeteria. Regular school will resume on Monday, Sept. 21.

One Pharmacist’s View...

Alongside I-40 going into Oklahoma City is a large billboard informing passersby that a large percentage of Oklahoma’s children face a hungry bedtime. In other words, need food. When I saw it, I thought of the old “Feed the Children” programs picturing little skinny starving kids needing some food and we need to “give” some money. But this was right here in America and that disturbs me. In fact, I do not believe it. These programs may be running to take financial care of those who happen to be running them with feeding kids as a secondary factor.
