    July 4 is many things — a day off from work, maybe a trip to the beach with friends, or a barbecue with family, celebrating the birth of our Nation, etc. But did you ever realize it also roughly marks the halfway point through the year we are struggling through. And then there are the jokes.

    How did we ever survive??? This is certainly not new and many of you are already rolling your eyes and sighing to yourselves. I know, you’ve heard it all before along with the walking (three, four, five) miles to school in the (12 inch, 24 inch or waist deep) snow. etc., etc., etc.

    Walking can add minutes to your life My mother often claimed that I started walking AND talking at 7 months and haven’t slowed down with either undertaking since.
