The Wetumka Chieftains played their first district game of the season Friday night and won by a score of 42-22.
The Chieftains scored quickly in the game versus the Maud Tigers.
The Holdenville Wolverines lost on the road Friday to the Henryetta Knights, 47-7.
Despite the lopsided score, the game was quite competitive early, and into the second quarter.
