    Earlier this year a study on the future of families was reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. One of the study’s authors was Dr. Deigo Alburez- Gutierrez, a scholarly gent who researches and writes about family relationships.

    The Big Tornado Night in Stonewall. It was what we would call a “sultry” night in Stonewall, Oklahoma, in 1947. I was 12 and I had a less than lucrative job running the popcorn stand at the Main Theatre there on Stonewell’s Main Street.I was glad to be there.
