It's been 8 years since I completed my 57th and final year as a teacher and I'll be honest with you, in many ways I am glad that I am not having to face the classroom (and out of classroom) challenges that teachers are facing in this topsy-turvy world we live in and the situations it creates.

Considering December 7 th So why do we still make something of a fuss about “Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941?” It marks an important historical date for America. December 7th marks the first time any nation had dared attack us on our soil.

Most of us complain about “hard times” on a regular basis. However, the fact is the vast majority are living better than any generation in history. Those that actually went through “hard times” never complained about them.

America’s continued national success is dependent on all of us, the American people.Our American people are what makes America a great nation. We have a beautiful land.We have plenty of natural resources and we have a great heritage but it’s our everyday actions that make America great.

We all enjoy talking about obesity but now we have tired of it. As for my disgruntled readers who are tired of me writing about “fat” or “obese” please be assured that I have no malice toward fat people. In fact, I’m a little bit fat myself and some of my best friends are fat people.
