Amy Marie Mc-Daniel passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the age of 50 years.Amy is the daughter of Kenneth Lloyal Conn & Mary Margaret (Jones) Conn, born on January 4, 1974, in Corpus Christy, Texas.

The University of Oklahoma awarded an honorary degree to outstanding individuals in recognition of their extraordinary achievements and generous service to others.David Proctor, a Wetumka, Oklahoma high school graduate was one of the recipients of the honorary degree.

Margaret Ann Patrick McClungMargaret Patrick McClung was born December 10, 1952, and passed away peacefully on Janu- ary 17, 2024. A cele bration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dustin Cemetery.There will be a luncheon following the service.

Some of you may know that I went traveling this past weekend — up to St Louis ’s Missouri. It’s a long trip up I-44 and back, but I made it. Due to my old age, I took my personal doctor, Ron, and my private nurse, Pat, with me. It was a hard trip but worth it.

May 5th to Makai Lee Blades on his 22nd – grandson of Donnie Nero, his first grandchild and on May 15th to Donnie Nero on his 75th birthday. They have enjoyed many great times together including going fishing and football games.

Marjorie Plunkett is home from staying with her daughter in Texas. She continues to drive back and forth from Oklahoma City for treatments. Requested prayers for Clarence Horn in Wichita as he is extremely ill from cancer. He is the son of the late Ira and Albert Johnson Horm formerly of Clearview.
