    CANDIDATE FILING BEGINS APRIL 3

    Statewide elec- tion  activity  official ly begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 3rd, when the candidate filing  period  opens,  the Secretary of the Hughes County Election Board said today.Candidates for state offices  file  with  the  Secretary of the State Election Board.

    EARLY VOTING BEGINS THURSDAY

    Early voting begins Thursday,March 28th for voters in Hughes County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.Hughes County Election Board Secretary Brandy Davis, said early voting is open to all voters.
