    March Is Women's History Month

    In 1987, Congress officially declared the month of March as Women's History Month. Since then, Women's History Month has become an important step in honoring women’s contributions to history that have often been overlooked in general education for years.

    Sharp minds for little children A first grade school teacher had 25 students in her class. She presented each child in her class- room the first half of a well-known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb. It’s hard to believe these were actually done by first graders.
