The Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Beta Epssilon Lambda Chapter of Boley have teamed together to feed the community of Clearview free of charge on December 15th at 5:00 p.m. at the Clearview Main Street Community Center.

An African American motion-picture actor known for his comedic characterizations, Dudley Henry Dickerson, Jr., was born in Chickasha, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory (present Grady County, Oklahoma), on November 27, 1906.

Eli Benard of the Graham Dustin Chieftains was recognized at a pre-game ceremony on Monday, December 11th for reaching his 1000th point. He actually accomplished this feat during the first night of the Maud Tournament in overtime of the Thursday night game.

Here’s what happens so often. A person becomes an adult, marries, has children, grows ill or old, and dies. Then the family of the deceased comes together to grieve, and to then plan the funeral.

The Wetumka jailers and police officers are raising money to purchase gifts for Wetumka children 12 and under. TOYS are still needed. The giveaway will be Saturday Dec 9 after the parade. Please have all children line up at the back of city hall at police station.

Finally, through a grant from USDA, the community of Clearview is receiving an HVAC system for the Clearview Community Center (old school gym). 4-Seasons of Okemah, Oklahoma is installing the system which should be completed by the end of the week.

TO Barrett, Edmond North High 6’4” point guard varsity basketball player, recently signed to with the University of Mssouri Mizzou Tigers men’s basketball team. Tio is from Edmond, Oklahoma and is in the class of 2024.
