Ryleigh Patterson, daughter of Roslyn L. and Bruce Patterson, is featured by Harvard Volleyball on National College Decision Day. She is also the granddaughter of the late Ross Golden and the great granddaughter of the late A.T. and Julie Golden of Clearview.

Last week the Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas completed another community project. The Clearview Cemetery had old flowers left on graves from dating back to Memorial Day 2022. It was time for a clean up and the Suggas took on the project.

The next scheduled town meeting will be on Thursday, May 11th at 5:00 p.m. The town trustees will travel to Stillwater on Tuesday to meet with USDA officials to discuss possible grants for rural communities.

OHCE stands for Oklahoma Home and Community Education. They are a wonderful local organization to Hughes county. They meet monthly and provide scholarships for the county, blankets for nursing homes and military boxes for locally deployed military boxes just to name a few.

On May 2, 2023 at approximately 2 A.M. the Wetumka Fire Department was paged to a structure fire in the area of North Washita St. and East Broadway Ave. Upon arrival the first re sponders found a garage fully involved and a shed fully involved.Both building were unoccupied at time of arrival.
