    Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas Community Service Project

    Last week the Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas completed another community project. The Clearview Cemetery had old flowers left on graves from dating back to Memorial Day 2022. It was time for a clean up and the Suggas took on the project.

    OHCE stands for Oklahoma Home and Community Education. They are a wonderful local organization to Hughes county. They meet monthly and provide scholarships for the county, blankets for nursing homes and military boxes for locally deployed military boxes just to name a few.

    Two Fires, One Night in Wetumka

    On May 2, 2023 at approximately 2 A.M. the Wetumka Fire Department was paged to a structure fire in the area of North Washita St. and East Broadway Ave. Upon arrival the first re sponders found a garage fully involved and a shed fully involved.Both building were unoccupied at time of arrival.
