    Judy Anne Stafford was born July 7, 1947 in Arch, Oklahoma to Josh Goddard and Lennie Goddard and passed from this life December 16, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Judy graduated from Haileyville, Oklahoma. She earned a master’s degree from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

    Steven Horvatt and Wyatt Pack inducted into SSC Honor Society

    Twenty-nine Seminole State College students were inducted into the Alpha Theta Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges on Oct. 20. The induction ceremony was conducted virtually, utilizing Zoom video conference software.

    Voter Registration Deadline is December 18th

    Friday, December 18, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the January 12th Special County Election, Hughes County Election Board Secretary Brandy Davis said today.

    Groundbreaking held for Tribal Town Senior Living Complex

    Less than four years ago, the tract of land along the corner of Old Highway 62 and Clearview Road just north of Interstate 40 was essentially barren. Today, the corner is home to the Thlopthlocco Tribal Town’s Community Center, Wellness Center and Multi-Agency Response Center.
