It’s that time of year again! No, not the holidays. The real event is the holiday get togethers with family. Although 2020 may be spent differently than past years, many families will gather in November and December and you know what that means. The potential for trouble!

A few years ago, we were introduced to a book titled “HOW NOT TO DIE’ by Dr. Michael Greger. This physician wrote an excellent book chock full of advice for keeping your body as healthy as you can, for as long as possible.
I have great admiration and appreciation for the Mvskoke Nation Honor Guard. They will go wherever and whenever needed to participate in the final service of a veteran. They receive no compensation and do it out of love for their country and respect for their fellow veterans.
The Red Hat Ladies met at Jaz Restaurant for its monthly get-to-gether. The Red Hatters just want to have fun, enjoy the food and fellowship all rolled into one! We were small in number today but enjoyed it just the same.

Celebrating 66th anniversary on Sunday Oct. 11, 2020 were Mackilee Leon and Melven Marie Samilton. We were married on Oct. 10, 1954 at Unity Community between Wetumka and Holdenville Oklahoma. We lived with his parents Mr. & Mrs. Steve Samilton for about 2 years. We had 2 children Mackilee Jr.
