Sucker Day will be held September 26th, 2020. We are celebrating the 70th anniversary of Sucker Day with festivities being held once again on Main Street. As of now we are looking at food trucks, vendor booths, a parade and live entertainment.

There will be a Police fundraiser at the Wetumka Housing Authority Building on Canadian Street on Friday, September 11, from 11 am to 6 pm (or until they run out!) They will be serving Indian Tacos and a Drink for $6.00 a plate. There will also be free delivery in Wetumka.

Clearview News: Clearview Town has received a Community Rural grant to create an exterior wall mural depicting the history of the town. The mural will be placed on the west wall of the Clearview Main Street Community Building.

Clearview, Indian Territory was established in 1903. During those early years of the town’s history, many grocery and dry good stores popped up along Hattie Street (present day Main Street). One of those stores was belonged to Jeff Horn and his wife Rosanna.
