Marvelle Messel 1939 Stuart Graduate authors book

Marvelle Messel is one of the finest Christians I have ever known, as was her late husband, Doug. Marvelle lived in Stuart for many years but now lives in Norman. She recently returned to Stuart for the Alumni Reunion. It was Marvells 80th class reunion. She graduated in 1939!

TWO OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING TEACHERS IN THE HISTORY OF YEAGER AND HOLDENVILLE WERE CHARLIE AND LANELL SELF. Charlie was also the most successful boys basketball coach in our history. This picture was taken on his 93rd birthday and he is getting ready to celebrate his 94th in August.

Happy 70TH Birthday to Donnie L. Nero Sr.

On Sunday, May 12th , family and friends surprised Donnie Nero with dinner and a birthday cake at the home of Ted and Marilyn Jackson. Nero was very surprised since he birthday is on the 15th of May. Those joining in on the celebration were his wife Shirley, son Donnie Jr.

The Green Book: Guide to Freedom film screening

The Oklahoma History Center will offer a screening of the Smithsonian Channel documentary The Green Book: Guide to Freedom on Saturday, June 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Chesapeake Event Center at the Oklahoma History Center, located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive in Oklahoma City.
