The Wetumka Senior Adults from the First Baptist Church held their monthly luncheon and business meeting. The devotion was given by Rev. Claude Butler. Those attending were Rev.

The Wetumka City Council held their regular meeting on Monday February 11, 2018. The Council members present included Rick Griggs, John Allen, Robert Jag-gars and Larry Roberts. Other offi cials present included Aaron Walker, City Manager, Brent Mc-Gee, Mayor and John Baca, City Attorney.

We had six ladies brave the cold Monday night for some fun moon playing. There was one extra, so we just took turns playing. Lots of laughing and fun going on! Players were: Barbara Tiger, Joyce Brinlee, Mary Wagoner, Cindy McDaniel and Sharon Dilday. We played 9 games in all.

First United Bank gave the Thomas-Breeding-Buckley American Legion, Post 32 a $2,000.00 donation towards the purchase of new flags that the Legion places across Holdenville on national holidays. The American Legion is proud to put out over 200 flags on national holidays.

A Calvin man has fi led an appeal after receiving six citations from the Town of Calvin in January. Court documents show that on January 14, the Municipal Court of the Town of Calvin found James M. Treat guilty in six citations. The Court dismissed five other citations.
