SCHOOL HOLDS ANNUAL AWARDS ASSEMBLY HEREThe first part of the award assembly held in the Dustin high school was the first grade graduation exercises. The remainder of the assembly was given to the presentation of the various awards.

Members of the Okfuskee County OHCE clubs traveled to Guthrie, Oklahoma to attend the Northeast District OHCE meeting. The theme of the meeting was “OHCE Spring Cleaning my Heart and Home!” The host counties were Kay, Logan and Noble.

Dr. Donnie Nero, Shirley Nero, and Marilyn Jackson attended the 2o25 DOTS (Discovering Options To Succeed) District 7 East Oklahoma County Health Departments Summit held on April 2, 2025, at Rougher Village in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Lazarus C. Reed Jr. was born July 15, 1923, in Clearview, Oklahoma as the son of Lazarus C. Reed Sr. and Minnie Alma Bush. Minnie A. Bush died in 1927. Lazarus Jr. was reared in the home of Minnie’s sister, Lula Ellen Bush Mayberry.
