QUILT BLOCKS RESCUED!
A set of 42 “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” flower quilt pieces were found in a nursing home to be vacated. Brandi Yahola found these and rescued them, and they were given to the “Jolly Quilters.” They quilt each Tuesday from 9:00 a.m.
No More Sales Tax on Groceries!
Effective Thursday, August 29, the state’s 4.5% grocery tax was eliminated with the passage of HB 1955 —which means Oklahomans should now be seeing some relief in their food bill.Local taxes will remain, such as those charged by cities.

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma 4-H’ers were in the fast lane during the 103rd State 4-H Roundup as they raced from workshops to contests to district rallies and more. More than 600 club members and adults were on the Oklahoma State University campus for the biggest 4-H event of the year.
