Holdenville resident, Tony J. Morrow passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2020 in the dawn of a beautiful morning. His journey began with a chorus of his family singing at his side and the birds chirping.

Robert “Red” McDonald entered this life on December 21, 1943, at Weleetka, Oklahoma, born to Joe and Mable (Bannon) McDonald, the eighth of their ten children. He went to his heavenly home on May 31, 2020, at the age of 76 years, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Cecil Claud Hood, age 78, passed away May 13, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a resident of Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was born May 17, 1941 in Atwood, Oklahoma. He grew up in Atwood, Gerty and Allen, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Army.

Elizabeth (Beth) E Rives, 44, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on May 26, 2020. Born on October 10,1975 to Owen (Bud) and Lynna Rives, Elizabeth grew up in Holdenville, OK. She lived in Syracuse, NY for 22 years where she attended Syracuse University.

Ella Mae Matthews passed away Sunday, May 31st, 2020 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 62. Ella was born December 11, 1957 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Alex Yahola and Minnie (Lowe) Yahola. She was raised in Yeager. Ella attended Jones Academy. She married Mark Matthews.

Berta Ruth DeShields was born to Marks and Leah Vanarsdall (Durham) on May 26,1923, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was raised west of Holdenville and graduated from Holdenville Public Schools, class of 1941.

Carol “Elaine Susie” Black Eck went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Shawnee at the age of 75. She was born February 3, 1945 in Wewoka, OK to the late James Ralph Gleason and Lucy Mae Chapman Gleason.

Velma Louise Smith passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at Walnut Grove Living Center in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 94. Louise was born February 2, 1926 in Keota, Oklahoma to Francis A. Campbell and Martha Reeves Campbell. She graduated from Clayton High School.

Bobby (Bob) D. Bunch, a lifelong Holdenville resident, left this earthly realm for the second and final time on Friday, May 22, 2020. Bob loved giving witness to anyone about his death experience that occurred in his early twenties, making him a believer in the afterlife and God.

Ora “Ann” Madden passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, at McAlester Regional Hospital in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Ann was born January 17, 1929 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Hugh Sinclair Eiklor and Laura Ann Chadwick. Ann graduated from Spaulding Public School.
