Kenneth “Kenny” Wesley Scott, 74, of Calvin, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his home.Kenneth was born on March 15, 1950, in McAlester to Albert Wallace Scott and Eva (Johnson) Scott. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

Elizabeth Brooks passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at her home in Wetumka, Oklahoma at the age of 81.Elizabeth was born June 5, 1943 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Woodrow W.T. Anson Sr. and Ella Irene (Dunagan) Anson. Elizabeth graduated from New Lima public school.

Kenneth Dale Towery passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. He was born on October 5, 1940, in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Tom and Ruby Towery. He graduated from Wetumka High School in 1958 where he graduated lettering in multiple sports and participating in FFA and ROTC.

Nina Stewart passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 87.Nina was born July 17, 1937 in Stoney Point, Oklahoma to John Franklin Sneed and Ruby Virginia (Clemens) Sneed. She graduated from Calvin High School in the Class of 1955.

Lloyd Rio (Pete) Petete of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on January 24, 2025, in Oklahoma City.Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 29th, at Glorieta Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Custalow officiating.Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Funeral Services for Sue Lyles will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Wetumka Cemetery.

Salathiel (Tom) Lovelace was born February 24, 1930, in Yeager, Oklahoma, to Francis Almontie and Rev William Cary Lovelace.As a child, Tom lived in several locations in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas, where his father served as pastor.
