Gerald Lawrence Baxley passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 80.Gerald was born in Alhambra, California to Clinon Ovis Baxley and Alice Jean (Hines) Baxley.He graduated from Huntington Beach High School in California.

Clayton Keith Tyler passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at his home in Allen, Oklahoma at the age of 55. Clayton was born September 6, 1968 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Elzy Lee Tyler and Betty Lou (Williamson) Self. Clayton was an Equipment Operator for the railroad.

Reba Mae Pettit passed away Thursday, August 16, 2024 at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 94.Reba was born March 27, 1930 in Atwood, Oklahoma to George Danny Black and Minnie “Dot” Grace (Moore) Black. She graduated from Atwood High School.Reba married Robert Autrey Pettit Jr.

Betty “Sue” Maxwell Chapman went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2024. She was born in Dustin, Oklahoma on March 17, 1932 to LeeRoy and Nellie (Paulson) Maxwell. She married Amos Chapman on September 29, 1950 and he preceded her in death on October 23, 1990.

Calvin Leroy Howarth passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at Baptist Village of OKC in Oklahoma City at the age of 99.Calvin was born August 24, 1924 in Newkirk, Oklahoma to James “Roy” Howarth and Esther Elvira (McEwen) Howarth. He graduated from Newkirk High School.

Funeral services for Brenda Yvonne Smith were held Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wetumka. Interment followed at the Wetumka Cemetery.Brenda Yvonne Smith was born November 17, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert and Ruth (Doodle) Wendell.

Lieutenant Colonel Carroll Prince was born in Oklahoma City on July 29, 1936. He and his family moved to Holdenville in 1947. Carroll graduated from Fairview High School in 1954. He attended East Central State College, prior to entering the Army.

Carole June Monday passed away Saturday, August 2, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 86.Carole was born January 29, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Lloyd Orville Riggs and Margaret (Kemp) Riggs. Carole graduated High School in Dallas, Texas.

Lorene Bird passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 82.Lorene Shannon Bird was born on March 12, 1942, near Pharoah (Springhill), Oklahoma to Landers Terry and Lydia (Lillie) Garrett Shannon.

Carley Ann Tatum was born in Ada, Oklahoma on July 18, 2001, to Kevin and Krista Tatum.She was raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma and graduated from Holdenville High School in 2020. She was an honor student and was also inducted into theAthletic Hall of Fame.
