In 1954 I was involved in taking my sister-in-law Judy back home to Spearman, Texas — A dusty town in the center of the dust bowl that whipsawed the Great Plains in the 1930s.The bedraggled panhandle town, like many in our part of the world had lost a lot of its population. But Judy had to go home.

A Battle of Words Back last October the Hamas launched a secret "Pearl Harbor Style" attack on Israel. The Israeli people had relaxed their vigil and were caught by surprise as the Hamas launched this surprise night-time attack along their border with Gaza. It was incredibly successful.

When I speak of the country around Little Caston I think of a beautiful a little creek near where my Bullard grandparents lived  in  Leflore  County,  Oklahoma. In that long time ago in 1942, my brother Gerald and I were sent down there to help on Grandpa’s farm.
