This past weekend in Yukon, the Glenpool 4x1 relay track team went home with the state 5-A championship. Jordan Blades, daughter of Tanya and Marvin Blades ran the third leg for the team. They broke the school record which had stood since 2014, beating the old record of 48.71 with a 48.4.

Congratulations to Mason Alford (Chickasaw), out of Wetumka High School in Oklahoma, who placed1st in the 400-meter run at the 2023 Oklahoma State Track Meet to win the state championship. He finished with a time of 48.96.
