The Wetumka Chieftains faced a tough battle on Friday night as they hosted the Empire Bulldogs. The first half was a closely contested affair, with both teams playing strong defense, but Empire managed to hold a 6-0 lead at halftime.

STUART LADY HORNETS, CANEY TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS—The Stuart Lady Hornets (25-2) were crowned the Caney Invitational Tournament Champions on Saturday, September 14th. Stuart started the tournament strong with wins over Atoka and Hartshorne. A loss 2-0 to Turner forced them to face Calera.

Last Friday night, the Weleetka Outlaws powered their way to a 36-20 victory over the Dewar Dragons in a hardfought football matchup. The game showcased the Outlaws' explosive offense, led by quarterback Isaiah Drake, and a strong defensive effort that sealed the win.

In a remarkable display of resilience, the Wetumka Chieftains mounted a stunning comeback to defeat the Davenport Bulldogs 32-28 last Friday night.
