Dr. Nero serves as one of three vice-presidents of the Board of Directors representing Area 5. Area 5 represents fourteen counties including Okfuskee County. During the Area 5 meeting counties and students were recognized for their achievements. Okfuskee County won Area 5 District of the Year and will compete with the other four districts for District of the Year.
