Andrew Sanford Peerson of Holdenville passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in Frisco, Texas at the age of 83.

Andrew was born July 11, 1936 in a car somewhere between Lamar and Holdenville most likely in Horntown, Oklahoma to Otus Peerson and Cecil Huff Peerson. Andrew attended Lamar and Moss public schools and graduated from El Monte, California high school. He married Freda Goodwin on December 31, 1966 in Holdenville.

Andrew is a retired U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Barnard Memorial United Methodist Church and was a volunteer fireman, U.S. postal worker and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, camping, wood shop crafts and meeting his friends for coffee. He loved spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending time with family and friends.

Andrew is preceded in death by his parents; wife Freda; granddaughter Olivia Peerson; siblings Norval (Sonny) Peerson, Nell (Sis) McCoy, and Royce (Chigger) Peerson.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Peerson and wife Jeanette of Rogers, Arkansas, and David Peerson and wife Cristine of The Colony, Texas; grandchildren, Andrea (Peerson) Horne, LeAnna (Peerson) Taylor, and Wesley Peerson; and four great grandchildren. Andrew is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was 10:00 am Tuesday, February 18 th , at the Barnard Memorial Methodist Church Holdenville, Oklahoma with Rev. Robert Foos officiating.

Pallbearers were Pete Huff, Rusty Huff, Steve Huff, Wesley Peerson, Scott Price and Levi Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Anderson, Macy Anthony, Max Courtney, Bill Johnson, Tiny Middleton, Harvey Price, Gerald Roberts, Jim Salazar and Red Thetford.
