A celebration of life service for Betty Jo Osborn will be held, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Parks

Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma with Greg Zackery officiating.

Betty Jo Osborn, lifelong resident of Wetumka, was born December 23, 1930 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Claude Forest Pruitt and Julie (Breedlove) Pruitt. She passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Okemah, Oklahoma at the age of 90.

Betty Jo was a resident of the Wetumka area all of her life. She married Roy L. Osborn on June 12, 1948 in Wetumka. She worked as a farmer and also with flower shops in Wetumka for many years. Betty was a passionate sports fan and especially loved watching football, playing golf and fishing. She and Roy loved traveling in their 5 th wheel. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden and was known for her banana bread. She always tried to keep loaves of banana bread in her freezer for anyone who would stop by. She was a great wife and mother and will be dearly missed by many who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Roy L. Osborn; her two sons, Mike Osborn and wife Pam of Wetumka and Dennis Lee Osborn and wife Donna of Kenai, Alaska; one brother, Douglas Pruitt and wife, Sylvia of Harrah, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Christy Morrow and husband Rick of Virginia and their children, Claire and Gage, Lisa Rolph and husband Zach of Alaska and their son, Owen, Michele Stafford and husband Shawn of Kentucky and their children, Cheyenne and Sierra, Josh Osborn and wife Laura of Alaska and their children, Alexis and Adam, Austin Osborn of Alaska, Michael Osborn and wife Joetta of Colorado and their children, Maddison, Bryce, Stetson, Chase and Wyatt; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Memri and Danny.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma.
