Carol Lee Webber passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 79.

Carol was born January 10, 1944 in Winfield, Kan sas to Wallace Barnes and Edith (Winters) Barnes. Carol graduated from Winfield High School in 1962. She attended University of Iowa and graduated with a Nursing degree in 1966 and received her Master’s Degree. Carol was a Registered Nurse in the Health Care industry.

Carol absolutely loved family; it was her very favorite thing. She loved family camping trips to Colorado, spending time on the farm, working in her flower beds, and going to her kids and grandkids activities. She was a Registered Nurse, starting out at Cleveland County Health Department, then she was a school nurse in Moore, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life Larry, they married in 1971 and moved to Tulsa. She then began a 30-year career as a school nurse at Jenks East Elementary school. Larry and Carol didn’t leave each other’s side until Larry’s passing in 2015. Carol was the oldest of three siblings, the first daughter of Edith and Wallace Barnes. She had a natural caring heart even as child, always making sure her family; her younger sister Linda and younger brother Jack were taken care of. Carol carried that nurturing heart into and throughout her adult life, being the unwavering loving wife of her late husband Larry, and mother of their two boys Chad and Kevin. Carol was then blessed with an amazing Daughter in Law, Michele, the wife of her oldest son Chad, who gave her two wonderful grandkids, Jenna and Grayson, who just brought out that loving nurturing side again, 10-fold, this time as a grandmother! Her heart has touched so many during her time with us and we are blessed to have had her as our mom. Now she’s hand in hand with Dad in Heaven.

So, welcome home Mom, we love you!!
