Carrie Lynn Kingston

Carrie Lynn Kingston passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Stroud Regional Medical Center in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 47.

Carrie was born February 7, 1973 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to William “Bill” Marks and Betty Lou Moore Sullins She graduated from Chandler High School and then attended classes at Vatterott College. Carrie married James Kingston in Chandler, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker.

Carrie loved growing flowers, gardening, crafting, cooking, hunting and especially loved spending time with her family. Carrie enjoyed getting together with family and making memories.

Her kids were her life. Carrie loved country music and dancing. That was how she and James met. Carrie was also a registered R.N. She worked in nursing for 13 years until she was in a wreck and become a homemaker.

Carrie is survived by her husband, James Kingston of the home; daughter Ashley Churchwell and husband Shawn of Eagletown, Oklahoma; son Douglas Kingston of Chandler; son Joshua Kingston of Chandler; son Eric Kingston of Tryon, Oklahoma; one grandchild with one on the way; father Bill Marks of Holdenville; mother Betty Sullins and step-father Johnny of Chandler; siblings David Marks of Chandler, Terry Sullins of Texas, James Sullins of Chandler, and sister Jessica Harp of Meeker.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, December 18th, at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Holdenville with Pastors Allan Carson and Tommy Azlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are D.J. Kingston, David Marks, Terry Sullins, James Sullins, Mathew Marks, and Chance Lewis. Honorary pallbearers are James Kingston, Joshua Kingston, and Eric Kingston.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
