The “Oh So Beautiful” Mrs.

Beverly Diane Golden-Gates was born on April 21, 1959, to Earnestine M. Wallace-Grayson and Alfred Golden in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the oldest of her siblings; Kenneth, Terri, Terrance, and Ali, whom she loved dearly.

Beverly was very dedicated and intentional when it came to her family and friends, whom she loved with her whole heart.

She was a Godfearing woman, who Loved the Lord!

Beverly was a member of Judah Christian Assembly in Oklahoma City where she was the head of the Usher Board.

As of recent, she was active on the church line with St.

John Baptist Church in Boley, Oklahoma.

Beverly graduated from Northeast High School in 1977 and attended college at Central State University in 1982 with a degree in Broadcasting.

She started her Broadcasting career at KAEZ Radio Station in Oklahoma City. She continued her education at the University of Phoenix earning a bachelor’s degree in Business/ Human Resources.

Beverly worked for the Clarion/Ramada Inn and Conference Center from 1988 to 2002 as an Administrative Assistant. She also worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas from 2002-2011 as a Human Resource Administrator. She loved being able to help individuals in her career field and had numerous endeavors in doing so. In her later years, she went to help in a very special way, caring for the elderly, which she absolutely loved.

Beverly was united in marriage to Manuel Gates on November 20, 2002. They have been married for twenty years.

From this union they have lived, laughed, and loved infinitely.

She gained nine brothers-in-love, ten sisters-inlove, and their spouses whom she truly adored.

Her legacy will be carried on by her sons and grandchildren.

Her memories will be cherished by her husband, mother, siblings, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends, and everyone who encountered her.

Heaven received an Angel on January 12, 2023. Beverly was surrounded by love from family and friends until her final resting moment. Never Alone!

She leaves behind her husband Manuel Gates, sons: Ivory N. Clegg (Amber) and Ryan W. Wall (Aubrey), mother Mrs. Earnestine M. Wallace-Grayson (Jerry), and mother in love Mary Hall (Kenny), sisters Ali Williams-Gaddis (Dana), Terri Smith-Cosby, Denise Tyus (Wefus), Kim Schmidt (John), and Tina Wilson (Mike), bothers Kenneth L. Smith, Alfred (Bo) Wright, and Rodney Golden, Grandchildren Ivory N. Clegg II, Alisha Arterberry-Clegg, Phillip Winston, Naomi Wall, Niko Wall, Kendra, and Kane.

She is preceded in death by her father Alfred Golden, brother Terrance L. Smith Sr, niece Brandi Cosby, nephew Terrance L. Smith Jr. and a host of others.
