Danny Paul Whitlock passed away at his home in Spaulding on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the age of 57 years.

Danny was the son of Dean Whitlock and Donna Lucille (Cross) Whitlock, born on April 5 1963 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was brought up in Spaulding and attended Holdenville schools. He joined the U.S. Army National Guard and served eight years. He worked several years in the oilfield as a roughneck and for Dean’s Casing Crew, and also as a cowhand at the Holdenville Livestock Auction. He enjoyed reading, especially Westerns, and he loved aggravating his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dean Whitlock, brother Jimmy Whitlock in 2018, and sister Crystal Orsburn in 2020.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Robinson, of the home; two brothers and one sister, Stanley Whitlock (Paula) of Seminole, Dennis Whitlock (Nina) of Bismarck, Arkansas, and April Tucker (Ronnie) of Holdenville; twelve nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, March 30 th , 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, with Rev. Jerry Orsburn officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Whitlock, David Cross, Tyler Whitlock, Jerry Tucker, Frankie Tucker, Jared Whitlock, Greg Whitlock, and Corey Whitlock. Honorary pallbearers were Gavin Lucas and Austin Tucker. www.fisherfh.net
