Funeral services for David Nin Parker will be held, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wetumka, Oklahoma with John Roberts officiating.

David Nin Parker was born December 15, 1941 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Nin and Maggie (Jones) Parker. He passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Dustin, Oklahoma at the age of 79.

David was a lifetime resident of Wetumka and a 1960 graduate of Wetumka High School. On March 17, 1964 he married Carolyn Richmond. David worked as a pipeliner all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, running tractors, working cows and farming. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Jeffrey Parker; 4 brothers, James Wallace, Harlas Ray, Kenneth Lee and Phillip Lois Parker and four sisters, Lula Mae, Nina Ruth, Minnie Jane and Nellie Willene.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Parker of the home; one son, John Parker and wife Brandie of Wetumka; one brother, Ricky Joel Parker of Wetumka; daughter in law, Rhonda Parker of Wetumka; grandchildren, Dana Lewis of Arizona, Jonathon Parker and wife Hayli of Krebs, Oklahoma, Joshua Parker and wife Mariah of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Jacob Parker and wife Kristen of Wetumka, Ethan Parker of Wetumka and Jesse Parker of Wetumka and greatgrandchildren, Joe Lewis, Jason Lewis, Annebel Parker, Graycn Parker, Jasper Parker, Weston Parker, Kylie Litle and Kennadi Litle.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Jonathon, Josh, Jacob, Ethan, Jesse and Hayden Parker.

Honorary bearers include Geremy Gray, Nathan Palmer, Larry Miller, Gary Holmes and Justin Yocham.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Viewing and visitation was held Wednesday, 12:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka.

Family greeted friends Wednesday 5:00 – 8:00 PM also at the funeral home.
