Funeral services for Franklin Thomas Lowe were held Monday, January 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Spring Indian Baptist Church of Okemah. Interment followed. A prayer service was held Sunday, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.

Franklin Thomas Lowe was born July 8, 1961 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Tom Lowe and Frances Faye (Taryole) Lowe. He passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 60.

Franklin was a lifelong resident of Okemah and a 1979 graduate of Okemah High School. He worked as a purchasing clerk for Creek Nation Hospital for over 40 years before his retirement. He was baptized at the Arbeka Indian Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the casino, his dogs and riding around the country listening to music. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jackson Lowe II and one granddaughter, Jadeyn Yahola.

Survivors include his son, Nathan Lowe and fi - ancé Rachel Ornelas of Okemah; two daughters, Monica Yahola and husband Asa of Okemah and Julie Lowe and fi ancé Jeremy Cooper of Wetumka; two sisters, Francine Lowe of Okemah and Corain Lowe – Zepeda of Henryetta and 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Leroy Harjo, Wendell Coon, Ian Lowe, Gunner Varner, Ronnie Randall and Steve Harjo.

Honorary bearers included Asa Yahola and Jeremy Cooper

Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home and offi ciated by Bro. Chad Smith.
