Glenn Dale Harjo “Locv”, 62, of Holdenville, Oklahoma passed away November 23, 2022 at SSM Saint Anthony Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on March 2, 1960 to Newman Harjo Jr and Cindy Lee Bruner Harjo.

He attended grade school at Bearden Public School in Bearden, Oklahoma. He was an Okemah High School graduate in 1979. He also was a team member of the Okemah High School Football Class A State Championship team of 1976. After graduation, he moved to Edmond, Oklahoma working for Asplundh Construction and Harry K. Myers Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He also did handyman work at The Bank NA (Holdenville), Rudy Alan’s Steakhouse (Wewoka), and J-Weezees in Holdenville. While doing work for J-Weezees, he also was the native nanny, door greeter, maintenance, landscape, or just there teasing people with a smile.

He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to joke and laugh. He did beadwork and worked on cars. He loved

collecting turtle figurines,

trying variety of teas, cooking, grilling, cigars, tinkering with electrical

things, jazz, blues, sci-fi

and history channels. He also loved nature, animals,

planting flowers, collecting

bonsai trees, bamboo and doing landscape. But most of all, laughter. He will be missed dearly by his smile, greetings, laughter, and presence.

He is survived by four sisters, Roberta Kay Harjo, Carol Harjo, Penny Harjo, and Barbara Colleen Jackson (Pete Garcia), and one brother Thomas Harjo all

of Holdenville;

nephews are Timothy Harjo, Nickolas Jackson, Zachary Harjo, and

John T. Harjo; nieces

McKenzie Jackson, Felicia Harjo, and

Alicia Harjo; great nephews

Chase Crockett, Kehl Harjo, Alyc Harjo, Silas Puente, Bryson Moses, Jordan Chick, and Noah Moses.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Newman

and Cindy Harjo; maternal

grandmother Cora Mae Lowe

"Cvlv"; nephews Marcus Lee

Harjo and Brandon Scott

Puente; great-nephew Dillon Harjo; and great-niece Keelie

Fixico.

Wake service was held Sunday November 27th, at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Funeral service was 2:00 pm Monday, November 28th, at Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church in Okemah, with

Wayne Harjo officiating the

service. Interment followed at Little Quarsarty Cemetery in Cromwell, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers were Timothy Harjo, Nicholas Jackson, Chase Crockett (Harjoo), Kehl Harjo, Alyc Harjo, Silas Puente, JR Inselman and JT Harjo. Honorary pallbearers Jeff Culley, Preston Wortham, Pete Garcia and Randy McGirt.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
