Glenn Gerald Harjo Jr. passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 59.

Glenn was born March 13, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas to Glenn G. Harjo Sr. and Emily (Marshall) Harjo.

Glenn graduated

from Eufaula Boarding School. Glenn was the janitor at Heritage Village Nursing for 11 years. Glenn married Joyce Starr on February 14, 2012 in Yeager, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, board games music and dancing. Glenn loved spending time with his family. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, brother Albert "Sonny" Harjo, and sister Glendis Harjo. He is survived by his wife Joyce Harjo of the home; children Spokogee Watson of Sallisaw, Tafv Watson of Holdenville, and Staci Gutierrez of Okmulgee; siblings Larry Harjo of Okmulgee, Randy Harjo of Ada, Ronnie Harjo of Holdenville, Gary Harjo of Kansas, Janice Harjo of New Mexico and Jerry Harjo of Kansas. Glenn is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Wake services was held Sunday, February 5

th , 7:00 P.M. at Middle Creek #2 Church. Funeral service was 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 6

th , at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church with Pastor Frank Moppin officiating. Interment followed at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Randy Harjo, Gary Harjo, Jessie Harjo, Derek Reyes, Jose Rodriquez, Spokogee Watson, Trevian Carolina and Howard Carolina. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Harjo, Ronnie Harjo and Jerry Harjo.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
