Jerry Wayne Barnes

Jerry Wayne Barnes Jr. was born May 16, 1974 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Jerry Wayne Barnes Sr. and Alpha Jean (Wolf) Barnes. He passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 in Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 46.

Jerry grew up in Wetumka at his family homeplace for most of his childhood. He loved walking and the outdoors. Jerry also like to visit with family and hanging out with his brothers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Sam and Eloise Mitchell and one brother, Thomas Ray.

Survivors include one son Nicholas Barnes of Missouri, two brothers, Ronnie Long and wife Rosanna of Okmulgee, Ok., and Terry Long of Wetumka, Ok.

Memorial Services will be set for a later date and under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma.
