Jimmie Lee Lankford

Jimmie Lee Lankford, 80, passed away on September 13, 2019. The son of Titus James and Myrtle Marie (Martin) Lank-ford, Jimmie was born on October 4, 1938 in Wetumka, OK.

Jimmie enjoyed rodeo, horses, and cattle. He was known as a great story-teller.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Betty; children Michael Lankford and wife Jodi, Justin Lankford and wife Kelly, and Michelle Huck and husband Bruce; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy Carney, Shelby Lankford, Nicole Brunner, Ashley Huck, Collin McMichael, Jaden Huck, and Quade Huck; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM.

Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Midway Southern Baptist Church, 22489 Oklahoma 76, in Blanchard, OK. Internment followed at 2:30 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, OK. Services were under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
