Funeral services for Joseph Pack, lifelong resident of Wetumka, were held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka. Interment followed at the Wetumka Cemetery.

Joseph Pack was born July 8, 1931 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Lester and Myrtle (Lancaster) Pack. He passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home in Wetumka at the age of 90.

Joseph worked as a carpenter and was known for building many barns in the area. He enjoyed making knives, hunting, fishing and especially aggravating the kids and grandkids. On October 2, 1954, in Wetumka, he married Claudia Carrigan.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, three sisters; one grandson, Billy Dilday and son in law, Steve Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Claudia Pack of the home; son, Joey Pack and wife Beverly of Wetumka; three daughters, Diane Smith of Okemah, Tina Dilday and husband Gayle of Wetumka and Dusty Edwards and husband Steve of Calvin; three brothers, Denver “Dee” Pack and wife Coleena of Wetumka, Harvey Pack and wife Violet of Wetumka and Finnis Pack and wife Coleen of Wetumka; 7 grandchildren, Misty Bowman, Emily Wood, Crystal Neal, Bonnie Clayton, Amie Leader, Kim Colston and Justin Pack; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Amie Leader, Wyatt Clayton, Arlie Nolen, Roy Neal, Tony Pack and Justin Pack.

Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma and offi ciated by John Riggs.
