Lanora Chambers Williams

Lanora Chambers Williams was born January 28, 1937 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Mr. Chambers and Maudie Salidene Chambers and passed from this life April 18, 2022 in Henryetta at the age of 85.

Lanora was raised in the Dustin and Weleetka communities and attended Dustin School. She had worked as an in-home caregiver but most of her life was spent as a mother and homemaker. She had made her home in Wetumka for several years.

She loved watching wrestling on television but especially enjoyed going places with her son Jimmy. They loved going to concerts and had been to see Alan Jackson, George Jones, Reba McEntire, Alabama, Vince Gill and many other major artists in addition to just about every Gospel concert they could attend.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a son Troy who was lost in a tragic auto accident.

Survivors include her son Jimmy Scott of the home along with several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 20 at the Spradlin Memory Chapel in Wetumka with Rev. Don Williamson officiating. Interment was in the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
