Linda Jane (Russell) Doner Clayton, age 74 and a lifetime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Richard Winters officiated. Casket bearers were her grandsons, and honorary casket bearers were the members of the Church of Christ in Konawa.

Linda was born July 3, 1946 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Jess Russell and Vera (Atkinson) Russell. She graduated from Vamoosa High School. She married Ken Doner in May 1964. Linda was an active member of the Church of Christ of Konawa. She owned and operated Ken’s Korner Convenience Store for many years. She enjoyed painting and was active in the China Painter’s Club International. She loved celebrating with her family and friends - always remembering other’s birthdays.

Linda is survived by one son, Troy Doner and wife, Laura of Konawa; one daughter, Dee Hensley and husband, Tim of Ada, Oklahoma; one brother, Jack Russell and wife, Pat of Konawa; five grandchildren, Kase and Kohl Doner, and Adam, Owen, and Trenton Hensley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ken Doner; second husband, Danny Clayton; her parents, Jess and Vera Russell; and one sister, Alice Ann Higdon.
