Linda Jean Turpin of Stuart, Oklahoma passed away in the St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, on Friday,
August 2, 2019. Services were Tuesday, August 6th , 10:30 AM, in the Non Cemetery, Non, Oklahoma with Randell Miller officiating.
She was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on July 27, 1949 to Bernal and Ole-ta Withrow Corbitt. She attended Allen Schools. She enjoyed gardening, canning and sharing the bounty with her friends and family. She was also known for helping others, loved dogs, other animals and enjoyed fishing.
Linda married Melvin Turpin on September 9, 1967 in Texas and he survives her of the home. Other relatives include two sons, David Turpin of Stuart and Morgan Turpin of Stuart; two sisters, Barbara Peigar and Mike of Hartshorne, and Brenda McNutt and Chip of Ada.
Her parents and two sisters, Gwen Walston and Betty Jo James, preceded her in death.
Graveside services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
