In Loving Memory Charles Johnson Sr.
Charles Johnson Sr. was born April 22, 1951 in Boley, Oklahoma to Bessie Willis and Freddie Johnson and passed from this life March 14, 2109 in Spencer, Oklahoma. He is married to Sandra Washington Johnson. He has daughters: Leota Goldie Augustine, Tammie Lynn Johnson, LaVonne Lee Johnson, Terri Johnson=Groom, and Jennifer Johnson; and sons Charles Wendell Johnson Jr., Torrance M. Garfield Sr. and Joshua R. Groom. His sisters include. Norma jean Bates, Linda Ricks, Olivia Wood-fork, Sylvia Willis, Betty Logan, Doris Wiles (Deceased), Helen Lawson, and Violet Dillard; and brothers Larry Johnson, O. C. Willis, and Dwight Willis.
Charles worked as a machine maintenance at Rolston Purina. Charles is the grand son-in-law of the late A. T. and Julie Golden of Clearview and was married to Sandra, the daughter of Leota “Chank” and Alfonzo Washington (both deceased) of Clearview. Charles has been a member of the Golden family for over 40 years.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 22nd . Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Earl M. Temple Memorial Chapel, 2801 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73111. Interment will be at Chilesville Cemetery in Boley, Oklahoma.
