as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and dedicated his life to serving Jehovah God on September 3, 1972.

Many of his close friends remember him as being kind, caring and non- judgmental even though he beat them mercilessly in every sport, game, or activity. He filled his life doing the things he loved such as fishing, golfing, boating, camping, traveling, and with family and friends. His children’s most reassured memories include spending time with their father camping, fishing,

and taking long road trips, stopping along the way to enjoy nature. He always made them feel loved and cared for.

Richard Earl Horn, husband, father, grandfather, sibling, friend, and faithful brother died peacefully in his sleep on the night of March 31, 2023. He is survived by his son Richard Earl Horn II, his daughter and son-in-law Courtney and Keith Boone, his daughter Kimberlin Tompkins, his grandchildren Zjaleece, Xavius, Qaisia, and Vaizon Boone, Marcus, Brandon, and Jalen Tompkins, his great- grandchildren Riley and Kameryn and his siblings Clarence Horn, Lis Gaudet, Jesse Horn, and Wilma Porter.

Richard was the heart, soul, and pride of his family. A light had dimmed, we will meet in paradise.

Richard is the son of Ira and Albert Johnson Horn, both formerly of Clearview, Oklahoma. His grandparents were Jessie and Susie Golden Johnson of Clearview. He is also related to the Golden, Horn, Normore, and Carson families of Clearview. Richard’s remains will eventually be buried in Clearview next to his parents and his brother Leroy Horn in the Clearview Cemetery, Clearview, Oklahoma.
