Naomi J. House, age 87, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Naomi was born in Sasakwa, Oklahoma on April 15, 1936 to Leonard Epperley Sr. and Dovie (Moody) Epperley. Naomi spoke of her “raising” being at Little River.

An Oklahoma Homecoming and Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Holdenville Cemetery Chapel followed by graveside goodbyes and interment. The service will be officiated by Bill Robinson and Rev. Dane Robinson.

In life, Naomi loved gardening, cooking, baking, interior decorating, and was known for her love of shopping, especially at Chico's. Many knew her as ‘Aunt Nee’ as she was a beloved aunt to many, related or not. To others she was known as “Skinny.”

She made and kept many friends from her work years at ATT/Western Electric.

With husband Charlie, they participated in square dancing where they connected with dear friends that she would remain close with long after the dancing stopped. A long-time resident of Lee’s Summit, she previously lived in Overland Park, New Mexico and of course Oklahoma. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fred House

(raised in Yeager); parents Leonard Sr. and Dovie Epperley; Parents-in-Law Fred & Inez House; Brother Leonard “Sonny” Epperley Jr.; & Sister Leona “Faye” Ricketts. Also, Brothers-in-law George Ricketts (Sr.); Bennie & Francis (Franz) House; Sisters-in-Law Lena & Judy House, & Niece Diana House. Naomi is survived by Nephews George Ricketts (Katheryn); Mark Ricketts, Larry Epperley; Richard House (Jayne); Jeff House; & Jeremy House (Janice), & Niece Andrea House-Cauffman (Nick). Plus, Brother-In-law Ken House & Sisters-In-Laws Tamzy & Nora House. Also, many Grand Nieces and Nephews, and Friends in numerous States.
